Swartz Creek Community Schools: Dieck Elementary - 3rd Grade
I began student teaching in January of 2012 in a third grade classroom with Mrs. Kim Sanders. It was in that placement where I applied many theories from the education program into practice. I developed a competence in demonstrating an ethic of caring, making instructional decisions that reflect belief and commitment to the learning of all students, employing effective strategies and creative environments that encourage critical thinking, problem solving, and performance skills for the academic success of my students, and being a respectful and socially responsible professional in my own classroom, school, local, national, and global community.
